We are a regional leader in providing new, used, and rental equipment to our valued customers in the logging and construction industries. 

Over the years, we’ve built a strong team of professionals focused on customer success: Our exceptional sales staff has more than a century of combined equipment sales experience working with customers across the logging and construction fields, so you can trust them to listen to your needs, find the right equipment and solutions, and be there to support you long after the sale closes. Our highly-skilled, in-house and field service technicians provide the expert service you need to keep your machines running in top condition. Our parts department keeps the parts you need on hand and ready when you need them. And our administration staff ensures our operation runs smoothly in order to meet your needs, whether you're buying or renting. 

Company Founder

Cascade Trader Inc. owner, Rich Lennox, knows the heavy equipment industry. His lifelong career as a salesman began at the Skagit Manufacturing plant in Sedro-Woolley, Washington in 1966 and continued at Skagit in Chehalis, Washington. In the 1970s, motivated by his valuable experience working with loggers at Skagit, Rich started his own company—Cascade Loggers Supply. Cascade Loggers Supply specialized in anything a logger might need, driven by Rich's philosophy of doing whatever he could to keep loggers satisfied with his services so that they’d always come back for more. Throughout the '70s and '80s, Rich built a strong reputation throughout the region—including for taking in some very interesting trades to close a deal. In 1991, Cascade Trader was born.

Originally founded in 1991 to fill a niche in the pre-owned equipment market, Cascade Trader soon expanded to become one of the nation's leading dealers of DEVELON (formerly Doosan) machinery. In keeping with his aim to help his customers succeed, Rich recognized that selling the equipment line would allow him to offer reliable, well-built, new machines at a very competitive price. The heavy equipment brand was virtually unknown at the time, but Rich's vote of confidence helped build its reputation among logging and construction customers throughout the region and country. Now, DEVELON equipment is a leading brand in the logging and construction industries alike.

Cascade Trader Inc. offers a long list of logging and construction equipment, both new and pre-owned—from log loaders and felling attachments to crawler excavators and bucket attachments. We partner with some of the industry’s best manufacturers to ensure you have access to the equipment, parts and attachments you need including  DEVELON, Hyundai, Waratah, Rotobec, Keto, FAE, ELTEC, Southstar, TINK, Geith, Berco, Young and others.
 

Our Facility

Our Chehalis, Washington headquarters features our largest equipment showroom, an expansive parts warehouse, a multi-bay shop capable of simultaneously servicing several large machines, large training facilities, meeting spaces, and more. We have an auxiliary location in Hayden, Idaho, also equipped with a large equipment yard, service department, and administrative offices.
